Meet Beth Vera+
Beth Vera, an experienced language arts teacher, loves to teach and find creative ways to help students find success. She has a Master's of Education, with Florida certification to teach grades 6-12 English Language Arts. Her experience ranges from teaching remedial reading and writing skills to challenging and enriching curriculum for advanced and high achieving students. This is her fifth year as part of the American Heritage family and her 20th year as an educator as a whole. Her creativity, love for literature, and passion for helping students become better communicators have made her a successful educator. Outside the normal classroom hours, she has sponsored a club for mixed media arts and photography which provided her students the opportunity to learn about famous artists and techniques, serving as a springboard for all genres of writing. She believes that mixing the written arts with the visual arts promotes higher level learning.
