Physics Bridge Honors
Physics Bridge Honors
Grades 11 & up
Physics Bridge Honors is an advanced course that provides a systematic development of the main principles of physics emphasizing problem solving and helping students develop an understanding of physics concepts. It is assumed that students are familiar with algebra and trigonometry. This course provides a foundation in physics for students in the life sciences, pre-medicine, and some applied sciences, as well as other fields not directly related to science. Topics will include kinematics, dynamics, energy, work, power, heat and thermodynamics, wave characteristics, light, electricity, magnetism, and nuclear physics.
Honors level classes can expect more rigorous requirements for assignments and assessments.
Prerequisite: Entering AP or Honors Physics
This 3-week course is offered for non-credit enrichment in preparation for taking the course in the future.
Session 2A: 7/01/24 - 7/19/24 (8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.) (EST) Closed 7/04/24
