Little Astronomers (PK4 - K) Broward Campus Only

Star light, star bright, countless stars fill the night. Our newest addition to our speciality programs promises to take young campers on an expedition to discover the wonders of the universe. Little Astronomers will travel through galaxies, learn the phases of the moon, explore the solar system, and ride the comets. They will learn about the Milky Way, the asteroid belt, and the universe beyond Earth’s atmosphere. If your child has a curiosity about the stars in the night and the vast wonders of space then why not introduce them to the world of astronomy. The sky’s the limit!

Ms. Jelry Johnson, a proud mother of a Heritage graduate, was previously the facilitator of the “Fun Science” program. This Summer she will launch our Little Astronomers into exploring our universe! She is excited to explore astronomy, the universe and everything in it, including planets, stars, galaxies, comets, and black holes. Let’s get started!!

Camper groupings vary by program. Day Camp programs will be grouped by age/grade/gender, Specialty Programs are grouped together by age, interest, and/ or skill level. Programs are not guaranteed and require a minimum enrollment. Campers are supervised at all times by our energetic and fully-trained staff. Our counselors are carefully selected based on experience, character, and leadership. Every staff member is background checked, as we continue to maintain the highest level of safety and security on campus. At American Heritage Day Camp we do our very best to make sure our staff is placed with the appropriate age group to ensure a successful and fun summer.
