Course Description+
Students who are working below grade level entering third grade will benefit greatly from our research-supported curriculum designed to give individual attention to each student. Basic literacy and math skills are reinforced using best practices and a variety of teaching techniques. Students are also exposed to rich text around Language Arts, Reading and Math. The instructional material is tailored to each student's skill level. Executive functioning is incorporated daily, including study skills, organization, and problem solving.

Session 2A: 6/30/25 - 7/18/25 (8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.) (EST) - Closed 7/04/25
Session 3A: 7/21/25 - 8/08/25 (8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.) (EST)
Each session is unique, so your child will benefit from taking more than one session.
Meet Linda Frank+
Linda Frank has taught at American Heritage School for 20 years. She has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master of Science in Education. She has spent the last 28 years enjoying teaching and touching the lives of others. Linda has taught grades K-3rd. In addition, she has spent numerous years tutoring students to improve their reading and math skills.
Additional Course Information+
A class may be canceled if fewer than 6 students enroll, and a specific teacher is not guaranteed. It is the parents’ responsibility to check with their child's school when seeking credit for a course. For online courses, the students’ cameras MUST be turned on at all times, and attendance is mandatory. To protect the privacy rights of all, there is absolutely no videotaping or recording by students during the course. Students must be age appropriate for the course, and all students must adhere to proper online etiquette. For online courses, young children must be supervised by a parent at all times.
